The system
On the turret in under 15 minutes. Off again without a trace.
- Turret-mounted — FS-200 fits the bustle bin or smoke grenade launcher tray. A splitter box routes power and signal to the FS-200 and FCU from the vehicle supply — no permanent modification.
- Quick-fit muzzle flash — slides into the 30mm muzzle brake; battery-powered with an 868 MHz radio link.
- FCS and AMS integration — rapid changeover between live and simulated modes without reconfiguring vehicle systems.
- Gunner’s Fire Control Unit — sunlight-readable display, safe/arm, 200/100/single rate, 3/5/7 bursts and live fault codes.
NFC ammunition management
Every round accounted for.
Virtual rounds are written to an NFC card at the Ammo Charging Station and tapped onto the FCU. Dual feeds, reserve bins, quick-reload penalties and vehicle-to-vehicle transfer mean crews and logisticians train the full resupply cycle — not just the trigger pull. One card holds up to 65,000 rounds.

SIMFIRE is being supplied for Australian Defence Force Boxer vehicles fitted with 30mm cannon, in partnership with the Rheinmetall Boxer programme.
