WHAT IS OUR PATENT?
Traditional simulated weapons that use gas typically rely on a combination of propane, acetylene, and oxygen. This presents several problems and risks, particularly due to the proximity of a fuel source to oxygen. Additionally, careful attention must be paid to the mixing of these gases to ensure safe and effective operation.
How is RDX different?
Over the years, RDX has perfected the generation of gun sound simulation using propane alone. Moreover, the system requires only a small amount of propane to simulate thousands of rounds per charge.
Shot capacity
A single Bic lighter’s worth of gas can produce over 2,000 shots in the 5.56 caliber range. Users can quickly transfer individual gas charges by using an off-the-shelf bottle adapter and a 400g bottle of propane.
Each charge is around the same amount as a Bic lighter. This makes the process simple and efficient. This means each device contains only a small amount of gas.
This design significantly reduces the risk of a large fire or explosion.

Rate or fire
Even more impressive is the fire rate. Our 5.56/7.62 simulated shots have a fire rate as high as 1200 RPM and the recoil to go with it.
Who is this patented technology for?
RDX has developed its patented technology into various form factors to cater to a wide range of users and industries, including military, law enforcement, film, and the consumer markets
