Fire Control Unit Wiring Options
PERUN V2

3 = Negative (Black B.O.S.S. Cable)

Due to connecting a battery and the FCU initialising the motor, this could be seen as a shot detection and will activate the XM203.
Please update the firmware and enable “Start in Silent Mode”. This way the unit is not LIVE until the user taps the up or down key.

Special thanks to rusty_mtw for his setup instructions.
NOTE: This is using an inverted trigger option, which is still in beta trials. Please email boss@rdxtect.net to request access to the new firmware.

IMPORTANT:
The XM203 typically requires a positive voltage to activate, but some FCUs (Fire Control Units) operate by switching to ground or a negative voltage to trigger the motor or solenoid. This results in a constant positive voltage between shots, which continuously activates the XM203. To address this issue, the “Invert Trigger” option has been introduced. With this option enabled, the XM203 will only activate when no positive voltage is present.
When using “Invert Trigger”, “Start in Silent Mode” is enabled as a safety feature to ensure the unit does not activate on startup if no positive voltage is detected.

The header is not normally used, but the output on PIN #2 allows for a signal to be sent in SEMI mode using Rev 3.0.0 firmware. If the firmware is updated to 3.0.4, AUTO mode can also be achieved using PIN #2 on this FCU.
Here is the cable that can be purchased from Polarstars website
